The pen Messi used to write his farewell letter was no ordinary pen. At the top, you can see Hermione's Time-Turner, one of the most recognizable objects in J.K. Rowling's world. This element retains the classic circular structure, with a small hourglass in the center.

Furthermore, the official Harry Potter logo in black is printed on the gold-plated metal pen. It's worth noting that Messi, his wife, and children are all fans of this series—this is no insignificant detail.

This detail is particularly special because it resonates with the current context. The time-tamper is a magical item in the story that allows people to travel back in time. Messi placed it on the letter he wrote about making his national team debut 20 years ago.

This visual coincidence is hard to ignore: the man who just announced the end of his Argentine football career is using an item related to "reversing time" to document the passage of time.
